Chromosomes: stuff that DNA is made of.
In each chromosome there are tonnes and tonnes of:
A – T (adenine links ONLY with thiamine)
G – C (guanine links ONLY with cytosine)
Chromosomes from one (1) cell can measure up to three (3) metres long when stretched out. Really thin. Invisible to the human eye.
Genetics is the study of genes… LOL!
DNA – dexyribose nucleic acid
Nucleus is composed of DNA which are instructions to tell the cell what role it plays in the body.
The benefits of exact DNA replication is that your cells can carry out the functions normally.
The benefits of DNA mutation is that there can be “differences” which may be stronger and better. (Have the ability to fight against some diseases normal replication can’t.) But in most cases there are disadvantages including the incorrect/no carrying out of cell functions.
That’s all I can think of! Hope it helps!
