My friend is a black woman with brown eyes who has a white husband with blue eyes. Their son is 2 years old and has blue eyes. Brown eyes are dominant over blue so im confused. My friends Grandfather had blue eyes so does that have something to do with it?

Is it possible for a person to test negative on a brca mutation test even if they have a family history of cancer? I ask this question because I met a lady who had cancer 3 years ago and she told me she tested negative on the genetics test. I don’t believe her. How can you test negative for this kind of test if you have a famiy history of cancer? Can this be possible?

I have been trying to learn as much as I can about how genetics and the brain in relation to mental illness. Also the subject fascinate me, but my age limits my understanding of them.
