I know that fingerprints are caused by fluid movement during the creation/aging of the embryo, but do genetics come into play at all? Maybe a certain pattern is more common in people of one genetic type etc.

I received a chain email years back that had a list of people with genetic problems, and the achievements they made. Hitler was compared to Kennedy, it had something about Einstein’s mother having many problems with her pregnancies previous to Einstein. Anyone know all the facts that were on it? My husband is interested in tinkering around with mechanics, electronics and now into reading about genetics. I would like to get him an experiment or building kit that would be fit for a 27 year old that is mechanically inclined with a engineering background (something challenging but not for an expert). Any recommendations of first hand experience with a kit that you liked?
