I’m only 5’7″

My dad and his brothers are 6 feet tall. My friends are all 5’10″ and taller and most of their parents are shorter than me?

I say height is strictly genetics but my friends say they became tall because, unlike me, they used to play basketball, soccer, etc. every day when they in their teens. I just used to lounge around.

They all drank their milk and ate their vitamins and I didn’t do that.

Who is right?

I received a chain email years back that had a list of people with genetic problems, and the achievements they made. Hitler was compared to Kennedy, it had something about Einstein’s mother having many problems with her pregnancies previous to Einstein. Anyone know all the facts that were on it? Writing a science fiction story on genetics, would like some examples.

My husband is interested in tinkering around with mechanics, electronics and now into reading about genetics. I would like to get him an experiment or building kit that would be fit for a 27 year old that is mechanically inclined with a engineering background (something challenging but not for an expert). Any recommendations of first hand experience with a kit that you liked?

The science of molecular genetics is relatively new to biology. The theory of evolution, on the other hand, was developed before scientists had any idea how genetic information was passed down from generation to generation.
